Shiyang has built Rare’s China program from scratch since 2008. She oversees all in-country operations, including project design, implementation and leadership development for conservationists across China.
Shiyang holds an M.A. in Sociology from Renmin University, Beijing and an M.A. in East Asian Studies from Columbia University.
